I have been getting:
Error: failed to retrieve puzzle. This could be a temporary network
error - please try again later. If the problem persists then please
emaii sudoku@dailysudoku.co.uk with a description of the error.
Whenever I try to retrieve any puzzle since 9/5/14 I get this error. I have emailed but have no answer. I have the same problem on both computers and looking at this forum it seems that other people have the same problem |

I have told the site owner it is broken. He may eventually fix it.

Same here; used multiple browsers; reset defaults; current on Java and adobe; turned off firewall and related components IE antivirus; spam etc.
Prior to this everything has worked for at least five years. |

I'm getting the same error message and have also done everything I can from my computer end to fix it and have emailed. I did discover that I can still play online but I have to record (or print) all the puzzle information and then input it into the empty puzzle that you get after you select Play Online. It's really annoying and time consuming... When you do that, not all the features work, but enough work to make finishing the puzzle online possible.
Sure hope they fix this soon! |

I'm only a computer user and not familiar with 'fixing' code errors. Is this something that needs to be fixed at the dailysudoku.com page, or by a java update or ???

| What Google code? I tried it from IE with pop ups unblocked and no ad on that are not disabled. |

I'm also using IE and also tried Firefox. I use Google for searching only.

| Mine started working today as well. Thanks for fixing it. Now I can go back the the archive and get the ones I missed. |
