As the man says - an xy-chain ...

 	  | Code: | (3=9)r2c4 - (9=5)r2c1 - (5=3)r9c1 - (3=6)r6c1 - (6=3)r4c3 ; r4c4<>3

BUG+1 ; r5c2=4 |

Probably other xy-chains that one-step it - a sea of bivalues! |

Should I do this again? There was simple coloring; r5c5<>4

Or a chain running from r1c3 to r5c5; r5c3<>4

 	  | Code: |

+----------+-----------+----------+

I was unable to locate a chain for r5c3<>4. |

Marty, your grid is correct. I'm still trying to determine how you reached it from here:

 	  | Code: | 	 		   after basics

 +--------------------------------------------------------------+

 |  2     3    *459   |  7     4569 *459   |  169   8     159   |

 |  59    6     1     |  39    3589  589   |  27    4     27    |

 |  8     459   7     |  2     4569  1     |  69    3     59    |

 |--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|

 |  1     8     36    |  39    257   57    |  4     69    27    |

 |  7     459  *459   |  8     29-4  6     |  25    1     3     |

 |  36    59-4  2     |  1     3479 *479   |  57    69    8     |

 |--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|

 |  69    7     69    |  5     1     3     |  8     2     4     |

 |  4     2     38    |  6     789   789   |  139   5     19    |

 |  35    1     358   |  4     89    2     |  39    7     6     |

 +--------------------------------------------------------------+

 # 66 eliminations remain

 |

Only the Skyscraper on <4> is present (and indicated) at this point. What was your next step? |

I did it again, this time on Draw/Play and got your grid. At the rate I'm making errors I think every puzzle should be done through basics on D/P, then xx to P&P for the rest, having already eliminated many of the mechanical errors. I'm posting too many erroneous grids. |
