using the strong links on 1 in col 4, we can see that either the 3 in r1c5 is true or the 9 in r7c8 is true, a little extension from the 3 we get this chain.
(9=3)r5c9 - (3)r4c7 = (3)r4c5 - (3=1)r1c5 - (1)r2c4 = (1)r7c4 - (1=9)r7c8; r78c9 <> 9
but for some reason I can't make this post any longer...
so on to the next post. |

then after some basics...
Code: | .------------------.------------------.------------------.
| 38 348 7 | 9 1 34 | 2 5 6 |
| 2356 3456 236 | 345 8 3456 | 9 1 7 |
| 9 56 1 | 7 2 56 | 34 8 34 |
:------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 4 1 9 | 2 35 7 | 35 6 8 |
| 36 7 5 | 36 4 8 | 1 2 9 |
| 2368 368 2368 | 356 9 1 | 7 4 35 |
:------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 356 2 36 | 1 7 -345 | 8 9 *45 |
| 7 9 4 | 8 56 2 | 56 3 1 |
| 1 358 38 | 345 [3]56 359 |[4]56 7 2 |
'------------------'------------------'------------------' |
the UR {5,6} says that either the 3 in r9c5 is true, or the 4 in r9c7 is true...
in either case, the 3 in r7c6 cannot exist.
56UR[(3)r9c5 = (4)r9c7] - (4)r7c9 = (4)r7c6; r7c6 <> 3
or...
if r9c5 is 3 then r7c6 is not 3...
if r9c5 is not 3 then r9c7 is 4,
r7c9 <4> r7c6 is 4.
means 3 is not in r7c6.
single from there. |

This did take me a long time, as you predicted.
A half-dozen ERs opened things up. Then a Type 1 UR on 56. Finally, an XY-Wing on 453 with pincer transports, using one transport of each pincer. |
