I've never heard of 'pattern rule method F'. From where did you hear the term? |

I came across "Pattern Rule Method F" when using this page to solve a puzzle:

Essentially what the solver writer has done is to categorise solving techniques with his own scheme.
His "pattern F" is using X-Wings(F2) and swordfish(F3). |
