Shortcut, I am not so sure.

I do use a swordfish for this one. And a wackamore.

There is a tree called sycamore.

The nastiest part of that tree that you may grab is a wackamore.

Aged hardwood club. You beat things with it. Very Happy

Given the "subtle" hint, a two step solution for the first puzzle is
Quote:
swordfish <2> and a w-wing <79>.
I am not sure if I found/used the "wackamore".
